In this video, we style components at the local level. These styling adjustments are not globally scoped so we can make changes that affect specific components. The Material-UI documentation shows this throughout their documentation but it is showing it exclusively for functional components and not class-based components. Because the Material-UI documentation does not demonstrate how to do custom styling for class-based components that’s what we’ll be taking a look at here. The initial application is built using React, Redux, Redux-Saga, Node, Express, & PostgreSQL.
