1.6 Is kind of a different beast. If you're completely new to modding stardew, this video will certainly help introduce you to it. Honestly though, I wouldn't follow this tutorial purely for the modlist anymore. Some mods are redundant, and other great additions have been made.

If you go to the nexus - collections, you will find some really great and up to date automated mod lists. I'd recommend the 'mega expanded stardew valley' if you're a veteran. It's the one I'm playing myself.
The 'stardew valley very expanded' is great for people new to mods.
