First, gather your supplies. For this Chewtorial, you’ll need a tape measure and some treats to reward your dog for their good behavior.
Start at the base of their neck and wrap the tape measure around, close to their fur but allowing for two of your fingers to slip under the tape.
Next, you’ll measure their chest. This is the measurement that’ll influence the fit of their clothes the most. Starting just under their armpit, underneath their body, around their ribcage and over their shoulder blades.
Finally, you’ll measure their length. Stretch the tape measure in a straight line starting from the base of their tail to their withers. Withers is the technical term for the small indent between their shoulder blades.
