Strv 104 is a Centurion mk 3 and 5 that went through two major REMOs and had a 50 year long military service in Sweden. This was the last official version of the British Centurions in Sweden and one of the first tanks with ERA reactive armour in the world.
When the mk 3 and 5 arrived in Sweden in 1953-55 they got the army designation Strv 81. In 1964-66, Strv 81 got up-gunned to the same 10,5 mm gun as Strv 101( a Centurion mk 10). The new designation was Strv 102. In the early 1980s Sweden got a problem with the next generation of MBT and came to the decision to do one last major REMO on the oldest Centurions instead of scrapping them. New electronics and sights, new engine and transmission, up-armoured front to the same standard as Strv 102 and of course one of the first ERA reactive armour, produced by FFV Ordnance in Sweden.
