A programmatic approach that secures buy-in from various stakeholders. The technical intricacies of large-scale decarbonization are intertwined with governance challenges, such as process optimization, resiliency and cost management. Addressing these issues comprehensively is crucial for efficiently achieving significant, long-term carbon reduction. Historically, companies have favored funding small-scale pilot projects at single sites. However, to achieve substantial impact, it is imperative that we transition towards developing and executing a portfolio-wide decarbonization plan. This involves securing adequate funding and leveraging available incentives and innovative as-a-service methodologies.
Key questions to be addressed will include the following:
⭕ What are the critical components of a successful, programmatic carbon reduction plan?
⭕ How can organizations effectively balance cost and risk while driving investment in decarbonization initiatives?
⭕ How can businesses optimize their implementation partnerships to deploy both capex and as-a-service models?
⭕ What funding options and incentives are available to support large-scale decarbonization efforts?
