1. Starting the Drawing
Open AutoCAD and set the drawing units to feet and inches. Use the Rectangle command to draw the outer boundary of the plot with dimensions 47'-2" by 35'-7".
2. Creating Rooms and Walls
Use the Offset command to create wall thicknesses of 9".
Divide the space into rooms using the Line command, referencing the given dimensions:
Bedrooms: 12'-0" x 12'-0".
Kitchen: 10'-0" x 7'-0" and 9'-0" x 7'-0".
Dining Hall: 10'-0" x 16'-2".
Drawing Hall: 13'-0" x 15'-8".
Toilet cum Baths: 8'-7" x 4'-4" and 9'-0" x 4'-4".
Sit-out: 10'-0" x 8'-8".
3. Adding Doors and Windows
Use the Polyline and Trim commands to mark door openings and window placements. Follow standard sizes (e.g., 3' for doors).
4. Staircase Design
Add a staircase near the sit-out using the Line and Array commands, ensuring the proper number of steps.
5. Text and Dimensions
Use the Text and Dimension commands to label each room and provide measurements.
6. Final Touches
Add furniture symbols using block references and adjust the layout for clarity.
