About the song & video:
The lyric is from a woman’s point of view, disenchanted with her partner’s lack of sensitivity, but it’s vocalised by a man. The out-of-sync aspect of the video reflects those artistic dislocations as well as the emotional miscommunication - slippages of thought and feeling - the song hopes to convey.
