How to Align the Text in MS Excel? Left, Right, Top, Bottom and Center Alignment, Wrap Text, Merge Cells.
In this video I have described Alignment section of Home tab. Alignment means the text touches which line of the cells. There are four line around the cell. If first character of the text touches the left line of the cell then it is called Left Alignment. If last character of the text touches right line of the cell then it is called Right Alignment, When the top edge of the text touches top line of the cell then it is called Top Alignment and when bottom edge of the text touches bottom line of the cell then it is called Bottom Alignment. If the text will be appear in the center of the cell then it is called Center Alignment.
Indent-
The space between left line of the cell and first character of the text (if left alignment). Or the space between right line of the cell and last character of the text (if right alignment).
Word Wrap-
when the width of text exceeds the width of cell, then word wrap adjust the text within cell automatically.
Merge Cells -
When a range of cells merged into one cell, it is called merge cells. The cell address of merged cell will be the address of first cell of the range.
