When Thanos came knocking on Earth’s door, he didn’t know who he was messing with. Sure he may have won the first time around and wiped out half the universe, but the Avengers are scrappy and came back with a vengeance to take on the Mad Titan a second time. It all culminated in Endgame with that massive battle between between all of our favorite heroes vs. Thanos and his army. Even though for a second, it looked like Thanos was going to win again, it was ultimately Tony Stark AKA Iron Man who saved the day with his tremendous sacrifice.
Knowing it was the only way, Tony put on the homemade infinity gauntlet and used the infinity stones to snap his fingers and make Thanos’s army disappear, but at the cost of his own life. Tony Stark didn’t survive, but the biggest question to a lot of fans is how exactly Stark made it that far in the first place. The Infinity Stones are immensely powerful and can only be wielded by someone with great power. The Hulk screamed in pain and was permanently injured when he used it, but Tony barely seemed to break a sweat when he put the gauntlet on, even though he was just a spongy regular human. How is that possible?
Today’s theory is all about how Stark was able to wield the gauntlet the way he did and it goes all the way back to one of the lines spoken in the first Iron Man movie so check out the video and be sure to leave a comment afterwards to let us know what you think of the theory.
