Tokyo’s Oldest Temple (exploring Taito City) 🇯🇵
What we got up to in this video...
We visited Sensō-ji! the oldest temple in all of Tokyo and it was really impressive! an incredibly beautiful temple and our first visit to a Japanese style temple and it was so lovely.
The temple was actually destroyed in WWII and then it was rebuilt later and is a symbol of rebirth and peace to the Japanese people.
Later on in the day we took a walk to Ueno park it was extremely peaceful and we got our first look at the famous cherry blossom which was one thing on our list we want to see and we we were extremely lucky to see it so early on.
Both of these activities were completely free so all we spent money on was food/drinks and a few fortunes! What a brilliant day!
