TSOM Student - Ana Cristina Rodrigues - Brazil
In Brazil, Ana worked for L'Oréal, one of the largest, global cosmetics companies, helping to develop products. Dreaming of an international career, she decided to pursue education abroad in Toronto. Soon after joining Toronto School of Management, she was able to quickly master the professional terminology used in her business communications class.
Whilst studying, Ana obtained a part-time job selling cosmetics at ‘Shopper Drug Mart,’ one of Canada’s largest cosmetics retailers. This experience strengthens her understanding of Canadian consumers which will be helpful for her product development career in the long-run. Ana commented: “Having the opportunity to take a moment and think about what I want is very important for me to reflect on my life.”
