In this video, I animated two of your logos!
I recently asked you on Instagram and here on Youtube to send me your logos - and you did!
So thanks very much! I couldn't animate all of them and if I didn't choose yours doesn't mean I didn't like it. I mainly wanted to show to different approaches on how to animate a logo in this video.
The first logo was sent in by Mario @mw.visualz
I used a simple path animation to get the timing right, before animating the logo icon kind of frame by frame. I used the Plug-in "Saber" to add a glow effect to the outline.
Finally, I added some speed lines.
The second logo was sent in by Katja.
"Goldzweig" is German and means "Golden Branch" and has a lot of different elements in it.
I added each of the elements to a separate layer in Illustrator in order to import the file as composition in After Effects.
First of all, I animated the two branches. Revealing the stem by expanding the mask expansion.
Then I added the leaves by scaling them up at the right time.
The golden rings are revealed by circular path shapes using a trim paths aniator.
The hand lettering is revealed by a path shape as well. I used the pen tool to redraw the letters and used the path as luma track matte.
► Software: Adobe After Effects 18.2 (I use the "Default" Workspace in my tutorials)
► I use music from @artlist: https://artlist.io
