AVM VCA - Recording when AI Camera sees a person or vehicle in our AVM NVR in addition to motion
This video demonstrates how to set your AVM NVR recorder to record not only when motion is detected, but ALSO adding in separate recording for people or vehicles that are picked up even at a great distance from the camera.
This can allow you to ignore normal pixel motion in trees or other areas where you would get excessive motion, and INSTEAD, have the camera tell our AVM NVR when to record with its AI capabilities, as the camera can tell if there is a person walking behind a row of trees, often even partially obscured with the right smart capabilities. This video will show you how to setup the scheduler in order to accomplish this recording.
Using a hybrid recording method can allow you to set areas less sensitive to avoid over-recording, while still recording important things (vehicles and people moving) in the far distances of the view.
