In this lesson from TheMacU.com see how it is now possible to setup a shared folder between Mac User accounts with iCloud Folder Sharing.
Usually in macOS you need to use the "Shared" folder which is located in the "Users" folder to easily view and share files between user Accounts on a Mac. This is also possible by changing permissions on certain folders but that has its limits. The "Shared" folder will not sync with iCloud Drive though so it's contents are only available on the Mac!
Now with iCloud Folder Sharing its easy to Share a folder between user accounts an a Mac and have the folder available in iCloud Drive. This will work as long as each Mac user account has a separate Apple ID/iCloud Account.
