Experiences With Lens Scratch Repair "Home Remedy" On A Sigma 24-70
I'm not proclaiming I have a silver bullet solution that works wonders on lens scratches, but I did try one of the often-recommended fixes with toothpaste and had some interesting results on a scratched 24-70. While visually the scratch was still there, it did seem to resolve the image quality & contrast degradation, as well as removed the visual blemishes that kept showing up in photos.
