How To Get Prosperity Or Fortune Orb Early In Suikoden 1 Remaster
Did you know that you can get either a Prosperity or Fortune Orb early on in the game? Here is how to do it.
First, save at the Gregminister inn once you gain control of your character after the starting sequence. If you want the Prosperity Orb for double potch gain, head back to your house upstairs and bring Ted. Otherwise, you will get the Fortune Orb with only the main character. Just don’t go to your room to trigger the next storyline.
Next, it is time to get to level 8. It will be hard as the enemies outside Gregminister are tough when you are level 1. So, you are limited to fighting Bon Bons and 1 ant until about level 6.
I recommend heading to Lenankamp south of Gregminister first to get a chest plate and upgrade your main character’s weapon until you are out of potch. Save at the inn and start running outside town to fight until your main character is level 8. Just keep reloading your save if you die. At level 7, you can let go of all battles that are not Bonbons or ants. This leveling process should take 30 minutes at most.
At level 8, you can start heading to Sarady by crossing Mount Tigerwolf, which is west of Gregminister. The snail is the only enemy that is dangerous as the other enemy encounters can be let go. Once you get to the other side of the mountain, head to Sarady and speak to the man in this house on the right side.
You will be awarded a Fortune Orb if you went alone. Otherwise, you will get the Prosperity Orb if you brought Ted along.
