How to Fix Any Windows Update Error on Windows 10 | Learn With Sazzad

Windows Update is an important feature of Windows 10 that helps keep your system up-to-date with the latest security patches and software improvements. However, sometimes the update process can fail due to various reasons, resulting in error codes such as 0x800f081f, 0x80073712, 0x800705B4, and others. Here are some steps you can take to fix any Windows Update error on Windows 10:

1. Check your internet connection: Make sure your device is connected to a stable internet connection, as slow or unreliable connections can interfere with the update process.
2. Run Windows Update Troubleshooter: Windows 10 has a built-in troubleshooter that can automatically detect and fix many common update issues. To run it, go to Settings -- Update & Security -- Troubleshoot -- Additional troubleshooters -- Windows Update, and click Run the troubleshooter.
3. Clear the update cache: Sometimes, the Windows Update cache can become corrupted, preventing updates from downloading and installing properly. To clear the cache, open Command Prompt as an administrator, type "net stop wuauserv" (without quotes), press Enter, type "net stop cryptSvc", press Enter, type "net stop bits", press Enter, and finally type "net stop msiserver", press Enter. Next, navigate to C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution and delete all the files and folders inside the folder. Then, go back to Command Prompt and type "net start wuauserv", press Enter, type "net start cryptSvc", press Enter, type "net start bits", press Enter, and finally type "net start msiserver", press Enter.
4. Disable third-party antivirus: Sometimes, third-party antivirus software can interfere with the update process. Try disabling your antivirus temporarily and see if the updates can install.
5. Update drivers: Outdated or corrupted drivers can cause Windows Update errors. Go to Device Manager, right-click on each device and select "Update driver".
6. Perform a system file check: System file corruption can cause Windows Update errors. Open Command Prompt as an administrator, type "sfc /scannow" (without quotes), and press Enter. Wait for the scan to complete, then restart your computer.
7. Perform a clean boot: Some software and services can interfere with the update process. Perform a clean boot by opening the System Configuration tool, selecting the Services tab, and checking the "Hide all Microsoft services" checkbox. Then, click "Disable all" and restart your computer.

If none of the above steps work, you may need to consider resetting or reinstalling Windows 10 to fix the issue.
