8Dio New Alien Drum (aka Hang Drum)
This video demonstrates The New Alien Drum (aka Hang Drum) - a software music instrument by 8Dio Productions.
The New Alien Drum contains thousands of deep-sampled variations of the Hang Drum. We sampled all types of hand positions from finger, palm to muted, pings, tons of Udu like FX, brushed drum etc. In addition we created a brand new User Interface using 3D animations. The New Alien Drum also contains a variety of morphed patches, which blends the existing samples with other instrument types. We also created a large ethereal section of ambiences and integrated our elaborate FX triggers into the library.
The sampling goes as deep as 10 round robin and 15 velocity layers pr. note.
