RAF PIPES & DRUMS BAND/COSFORD AIRSHOW HIGHLIGHTS (airshowvision)
Here are some highlights from the recent RAF Cosford Airshow 2014, put to the amazing sound of the Royal Air Force Combined Pipes & Drums Marching Band.
The magical sound of the bagpipes compliment the visuals from the top aerobatic performers in the UK at present.
Aircraft include the Eurofighter Typhoon, The Red Arrows, the Avro Vulcan, the Blades, Canberra and Hunter combo, Spitfire PR Mk.XI, Dakota, Hurricane, Fokker and Sopwith Triplane of the Great War Display team. Extreme aerobatics were from the Pitts Special.
Add to this helicopters Lynx, Sea King and Apache, plus Jaguar ground runs and the great Museum and it was a memorable show for the organisers to be proud of.
This sets a high standard for the other shows to follow , beginning with Waddington this weekend . . .
