Today marks the 25th anniversary of the release for one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time - Snoop Doggy Dogg's solo debut: "Doggystyle".

The CD dropped on November 23, 1993 via Death Row Records with distribution being handled by Interscope Records and debuted at No. 1 on Billboard 200, selling over 800 000 copies in the first week - making it the most anticipated rap album ever and best selling debut album ever up to that point.

Many of you don't know, but the album itself was still unfinished by the time of it's release as Dr. Dre rushed the whole project to make it before the deadline... as a result, couple tracks were left off the final release althought two of them made it as far as being featured on the back cover.

One of them - "G'z Up & Hoez Down" was featured on the very first US press of the record and pulled off shortly after, due to sample clearance issues. The very last track on the original tracklist - "Tha Next Episode" never made it out to the public, as only a low quality cassette rip surfaced.

Celebrating "Doggystyle" turning 25 today, I present to you a best quality version of the OG "Tha Next Episode", that was featured and produced by Dr. Dre, who took the title and created a new record off it on his "2001" album. This is the original version of "Tha Next Episode" in best quality we may ever hear it, as it uses the full CD quality instrumental, that was ripped directly from the DAT Master Reel.
