2023 VW Amarok Review: Better than a Ford Ranger?
The 2023 Volkswagen Amarok marks the second generation of VW's pickup. This time, VW and Ford have combined the efforts (and budgets) of their commercial divisions, which means the Amarok is essentially a rebodied version of the latest Ford Ranger.
To differentiate its offering, VW equips the Amarok with a more luxurious interior and a five-year ownership package, as well as unique styling to complement the Ford-sourced diesel engines. These include both single- and twin-turbo versions of a 2.0-litre, four-cylinder unit, and a 3.0-litre V6.
