In this episode I'll show you how to create Control Rigs for rigged figures in Unreal Engine. We will create the Blueprint logic that lets us select control points that transfer values to the joints, and joint values to the controls for tweaking existing sequences. This step is a necessary evil if you want to animate directly on the timeline.

While powerful, it adds a layer of complexity we get for free in other applications, and I wish artists wouldn't have to deal with this step - but it's as good as it gets for now.

Although we will get an easier way to create these rigs in unreal Engine, it is helpful to do this from scratch on non-humanoid figures and hen clever automation just isn't working (or crashes completely, like it does in the 5.4 Preview).
