Della Mini Split Installation
First off, this unit is working great for me. It has been installed for 3 weeks.
This is a 12000 BTU unit. There are several Della mini-split installation videos on YouTube. I did this video to show some of the steps and installation surprises most other videos gloss over.
I installed this unit about 1 week before uploading the video, and so far it's worked great. It easily cools my garage, even in the afternoon when the full sun is on my garage door. But don't expect it to cool you entire house. It's not that strong. And, my garage door is insulated with a foam insulation kit that works great to block heat.
The Della installation is not hard if you're good at light carpentry and experienced with electrical installations and air-conditioner Freon lines. If you don't have experience with these things, then hire someone who does.
