On our first day in Fukue (Goto) we wanted to explore and get a view of the city and surrounding ocean. We choose a spot that captured this perfectly and the is location of today's video.

The Goto Islands, located off the western coast of Kyushu in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan, are an archipelago known for their stunning natural beauty, rich history, and cultural significance. The main islands include Fukue, Hisaka, Naru, Wakamatsu, and Nakadori. Additionally, the islands offer local culinary delights, such as Goto udon noodles and fresh seafood, providing a taste of the region's unique flavors.

Fukue is the largest island in the Goto Islands archipelago, located in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. It serves as the main administrative and cultural hub of the Goto Islands. Fukue Island is known for its beautiful natural landscapes, including sandy beaches, volcanic mountains, and lush greenery. Key attractions on the island include Fukue Castle, Dozaki Church, Mount Onidake and Takahama Beach.
