How to start an Etsy shop in 2023! Welcome to part 1 of a (long) series where we talk about everything from setting up a shop to making listings, shipping orders, finding new products to sell, scaling up, and more.
At the time of upload (December 2022) I've been a full-time Etsy seller for almost 3 years - will be 3 full years in March. My shop is rounding the corner to 3000 sales as I type, and I doubled last year's revenue with the addition of a Shopify site earlier this year.
(Side note - I do not disclose my actual shop name or link. I have done so in the past, and unfortunately I had to stop because the influx of traffic was negatively impacting my conversion rate, thus making Etsy think my listings are bad because people were looking and not buying.)
