It's way harder to drive now, braking distances are increased like 3-4 times, and one wrong move can get a car smashed to smithereens because vehicles are easier to damage too!
The reason is all GTA IV car specs are brought as close to reality as possible, mod devs even said they actually measured lap times of real and GTA IV cars to make their specs match.
