Looping one-shot Samples || Making beats in REAPER
In this video we're looking at a couple actions for looping that are really helpful for making beats from one-shot samples.
TLDR;
All looping options are disabled in Preferences-Project-Media Item Defaults
two actions on toolbar:
loop item source (use this to loop item as-is, or to unloop an item)
SWS: Loop section of selected item (use this when you need to trim item before looping)
Set grid to desired interval, set item length to fit grid
run action loop section.
extend item edge to loop
use action Loop item source to reset item
