Daniel Puder, a WWE Tough Enough contestant, was offered the opportunity to step inside the ring with Kurt Angle during a Smackdown taping in late 2004. Daniel had trained in MMA and had a professional fight under his belt, and Angle knew if Puder's background. Daniel and Puder had a shoot wrestling match which ended with Daniel putting Angle in serious jeapordy, and if the match had've gone on a few seconds longer Kurt could've ended up being embarrassed by the 22 year old.
