✅ What they sell:
• full-fledged ready meals: Chinese, European, Mexican, Middle Eastern, American, Thai cuisine;
• traditional Thai snacks and street food: spring rolls, skewers on skewers, shrimp, etc.;
• drinks and fruits: shakes and smoothies, fresh juice, beer and soft drinks, cocktails;
• clothing: men's, women's, children's - mostly beachwear (prices within 300 baht);
• souvenirs and trifles: from Thai balms and stoles to balls and phone cases.
The night market in Jomtien is one of the best places in Pattaya where you can eat tasty and inexpensive. The Night Market is reminiscent of an open-air food court: many tourists and Thais buy ready-made meals and dine here, at the tables.
🍜 In the video, I try Pad Thai (famous Thai noodles with shrimp), hummus (snack of chickpea puree with sesame paste, olive oil and paprika), vegetable salad, fruit shake. I spent 175 baht on food - about 430 rubles.
Prices in the Jomtien market in Pattaya in 2022 have not changed from previous years. Only the exchange rate of the ruble against the baht changes, so food has risen in price for Russians.
📈 Exchange rate at the time of shooting (winter 2022): 1 THB = ~2.3 RUB = ~0.03 USD = ~0.02 EUR
