Celebrating National Robotics Week - Henry Sick
In celebration of National Robotics Week, we want to highlight the work of Henry Sick and his team. Henry leads a group of talented robotic engineers at Alert Innovation, a tech company in Boston recently acquired by @Walmart. The systems that Henry and his team are building will drive a big piece of supply chain automation at Walmart market fulfillment centers throughout the U.S.
Henry became interested in engineering at a very young age and prior to getting into the robotics field, he had a successful career in developing intelligent LED lighting systems at Digital Lumens. Throughout his career in engineering, he has supported the education of robotics for the next generation as a mentor in the @FIRSTRoboticsCompetition. In this program, Henry provides guidance on building robotics systems to high school students that participate in state and national competitions. Before becoming a mentor, he participated as a student and has been involved with the organization for 20 years.
