Dr. Kristen Stubbs is the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) Outreach Program Manager at iRobot Corporation. She supervises iRobot's educational outreach initiative, iRobot SPARK, which includes an educational robotics web portal (spark.irobot.com) and National Robotics Week. Kristen is a leading organizer of National Robotics Week (www.nationalroboticsweek.org), which occurs annually during the second full week of April. The inaugural National Robotics Week in 2010 included over 50 affiliated events with more than 24,000 participating K-12 students.
In 2008, Kristen received her Ph.D. in Robotics from Carnegie Mellon University, and for over six years she has been involved in the design and evaluation of educational robotics programs, including robot hardware, curricula and teacher training.
