Change Data Capture: Dmitry Chait & Avi Mualem
CDC (Change Data Capture) is a design pattern that allows capturing changes of a data source. These changes can be later used for different purposes (for example - migrations, materialization).
We designed a system (using this design pattern) that currently supports capturing changes from MySQL databases using Debezium MySQL Connector, which streams data changes from MySQL to a Kafka topic.
