How to Submit Work for Payment on Upwork & Request Payment for Fixed-Price Contracts
This quick tutorial shows you how to submit work for payment on Upwork after completing a fixed-price contract. Many times, I submit my work to clients and they forget to pay me or approve the work I submit. Therefore, it is important to manually submit work for payment so that you can start the clock on the 14 days that the client has before the deposit in escrow is automatically released to you.
The client has 14 days after you manually submit work for payment to review your work or ask for changes. If you do not manually submit your work, you may have to wait much longer, so this is an important step!
