One of the biggest complaint’s about the ATEM Mini ISO’s DaVinci project file is that it’s not a traditional Multicam timeline that you can edit in the EDIT tab of DaVinci Resolve with the regular multi-cam viewer. Instead it’s designed to be used in the CUT tab of DaVinci along with the fantastic “Sync Bin” feature. Personally I find editing with the sync bin and cut page fast and easy (especially when using a Blackmagic Speed Editor). BUT, there are some times that I just wish you could edit the ATEM files as a traditional multicam in the edit tab, and I’ve heard may of you say the same… So I’ve created a method for converting your ATEM ISO DaVinci Resolve project files into a regular Multicam Timeline that you can use in the Edit tab of DaVinci. I hope this helps you out and let me know if you do try this method!
