After Effects CC 2023: How To Reset Shape Tool Defaults
This quick tip will show you how to reset the shape tools (rectangle, ellipse, polygon, etc) to the default settings after making custom shapes.
Note: You can make custom shapes using the Shape Tools by tapping the arrow keys left and right and up and down and these settings will stay ’sticky’ meaning they will be the default shape until you change it or reset the default settings.

How To Reset Shape Tool To Default Settings:
1. Select a Shape Tool after customizing it (left & right arrows, etc)
2. Double-click on the Shape Tool to reset
