My two month review of theOneXPlayer 1S Handheld Windows Gaming PC by One NetBook.
I got tired of waiting for the #SteamDeck and the rumored #SwitchPro never happened so I picked this one up instead. Very impressed with the #OneXPlayer in that I can take my Steam library on the go as well as play emulated classic games from the Sega Genesis, Super NES, PSX, Playstation 2, PSP, and "supposedly" even the Nintendo Switch!
It's a fully functioning Windows PC that runs the full desktop version of Windows 11. Really impressive piece of tech!
In the review we talk about the design, buil quality, speaker performance, mic performance and how well it runs productivity software such as Microsoft Office. We also look at how it benches on 3DMark and Tomb Raider. Most importantly, how well it runs games such as CyberPunk 2077, Tales of Arise and emulators such as Yuzu and Retroarch.
