There are 2 ways to remove your source collars in Act l.
0:05 - one can be done really early into the game but only works for your main character by winning the undergound arena in Fort Joy.
5:59 - talk to Nebora later so she can remove your collar.
6:52 - the otherway will works for everyone but only once you're out of Fort Joy. NPC Leya at Seeker Hideout will help after you save Gareth.
8:28 - looking for Gareth
18:28 - Leya remove my teammates collars.
Theres a 3rd way by using Loshe ( found by - lx07 , larian forum )
-- " Leya will remove all source collars without first freeing Gareth if you talk to her with Lohse and tell her a nice story. I forget the exact conversation choices required - something about boats passing on the ocean."
