England have been the defending champions of the last 2019 World Cup against New Zealand. This team have emerged very strong since the last 5 years as they won T20 World Cup as well against Pakistan. This team also whitewashed Pakistan in their own homeland in test. There are probable chances that England will also emerge strong in this ICC WC 2023.
India and Australia are also the best ODI teams for white ball matches and these two teams can have ample number of variations in their squad. I have already wrote about the Indian squad and India is also doing great that we saw in Bangladesh, Zimbabwe and against Sri Lanka. Australia too destroyed South Africa in Test Cricket.
New Zealand is also a very strong team as the Black Caps are pro in test matches. This team just got lucky in important matches like in 2019 Semi Final. I like Kane Williamson because is he is very fine player with gentle gameplay. He is better captian too.
Pakistan, I don't know because they are either too strong or too weak or maybe they got unlucky in very important matches like Shaheen Afridi conceded 3 sixes against Australia that Kangaroo's grabbed victory even after fall of six wickets. Pakistan can do well if Waseem, Shaheen and Hassan Ali can improve their pace.
Sri Lanka is also getting on their feet that Shanaka is leading the teamplay at good forefronts. I don't think so Sri Lanka have that better chances against India or England or Australia but I can't say anything because cricket is a game of uncertainties.
South Africa have to improve their gameplay and Bangladesh too.
West Indies, Zimbabwe and Afghanistan have least chances to qualify for quarter final. Their cricket is either not being supported or investment/sanctioning of funds to these teams is reduced now.
So, I will support India only to hold the title of ICC CWC 2023 and at second in case India lost in Semi, I wish either New Zealand and South Africa must hold it.
