Lebanon arrests fugitive cleric Al-Assir at Beirut airport
Lebanon on Saturday arrested a fugitive Islamic cleric wanted over deadly clashes with the army as he tried to flee via the country's airport. Security sources said that he was using a forged passport and had undergone surgery to change his appearance. Charges against him include forming a terrorist organization and inciting violence against the army.
