Koh Lanta Island is known for being relatively difficult to reach and that the island is not so popular among tourists. The island has many interesting places: caves, beaches, a national park, elephant tracking, old town, a fishing village, etc.
In the off-season (summer months) nobody watches the beaches and they turn into a garbage dump. For the season, the beaches rake and turn into paradise.
The summer period on the island reduces prices by 2 times almost everything except food.
