• Homemade Boosted board! | DIY ELECTRIC SKATEBOARD
I created my own homemade Joinen Boosted Board. My DIY electric skateboard is something I've wanted to create for a long time and today it became a reality. I understand it's not too polished ta the moment, but it moves, and that's amazing.
If you're interested in the parts, here's what I used:
Motor:
Turnigy Aerodrive SK3 - 5065-236kv (Though I would suggest a lower kv. More torque and less top speed would've been good).
I bought this one from Hobbyking. Decent store with a local warehouse in Australia which helped with shipping times.

ESC:
FVT 120A (Many would suggest you buy a VESC, but I didn't have that kind of money). It seems to work well so far.
I bought this from Banggood which many know for their large stock of drone/quadcopter/multi-rotor stuff. I've bought from them quite a lot, and I would actually recommend them. Escpecially for the price.

Motor Mount:

Battery:
Honestly, I'll be changing the battery to Li-ion set up soon, because I don't really think Li-Po batteries are very practical. So I'll update this when I change that over.
As for the board itself, it's a Loaded Poke, with Paris 180 V2 in orange, and some ABEC 83mm Centrax 77a wheels. I won't link to these though because some of these items are discontinued and you'd probably want to get these from a board shop in your own country.
