What is the Media Cache? | Premiere Pro CC 2021
This is one of the lessons from within my full course. The media cache inside of Premiere is extremely overlooked. If you are having any issue in Premiere, the first thing you should try is clearing the media cache. It can take up hundreds of GB of your hard drive space, files can be corrupt and have performance issues, sometimes an audio waveform doesn't get generated and deleting the cache will make it appear. Regardless, this is something every Premiere Pro editor needs to know about.
