Easy Tent Cleaning with CanvasCare: Jojo's Experience

Even though he knows cleaning and retreating your tent is important, he never really did it. (Bad Jojo!) So we thought he’d be the best person to ask to try our new CanvasCare products. Because cleaning and re-treating your cotton canvas is the only way to keep it in the best condition after a longer period of use, permanent, or spread over different periods.
Step 1 Cleaning dirt and stains
Remove any dirt, light stains, and green mold with our CanvasCare Canvas Cleaner
Step 2: Remove mold & mildew
Spray CanvasCare Stain Remover on all black moldy bits
Step 3: Retreat and waterproof
On a dry & clean canvas, spray both sides of the fabric with CanvasCare Waterproofer
USE
When & how:
Temperature is 15C (59F) or warmer
Use a soft brush
Safety measurements: gloves and proper protection
Retreat your tent every 3-6 months for best results

01:27: Before starting the cleaning process: remove all branches, leaves, and other debris with a soft brush
01:40 Step 1A: Clean dirt & stains. Spray the canvas with water before applying the CanvasCare Canvas Cleaner
01:56 Step 1B: Rub the cleaner into the canvas (inside and outside) with a sponge or soft brush, and let it soak for 20 minutes before rinsing with water
02:44 Step 2A: Remove stains. Spray the CanvasCare Stain Remover on all black dots and mold, and let it soak for 20 minutes in the cotton. Use a soft brush for the more stubborn stains.
3:13 Step 2B: Rinse the entire canvas with water and make sure no soap residue remains on the canvas
TIP: Clean your tent when it’s 15°C (59°F) or warmer
04:13 Step 3A: Waterproof tent: ensure the cotton is clean, dry, and free of soap residue
04:22 Step 3B: Spray the Waterproofer generously on both sides of the fabric. Tip: use a brush or roller
