Kalandra - Skaldespille (from the HBO® Nordic series Beforeigners)
In collaboration with Norwegian folk musician Kenneth Lien, we present to you: 𝐒𝐤𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐞
We've written music for three different scenes in the HBO Nordic series called Beforeigners for Rubicon TV (Episode 5 & 6). If you haven't seen it, it's a rather twisted, funny and poignant series about xenophobia and integration in our society towards the newcomers from the past, adding crazy adventure and and a dash of crime, all in a comic-relieving cluster!
Now, all of this we tried to capture in a piece of music.
The Past - The Present - Chaos - Humor and Techno Vikings! 💥
It's very different pieces of music from what Kalandra usually makes. We hope it makes you smile, like we did creating it.
We loved the challenge and hope to create more music for screens some day.
