Visiting the Cliffs of Moher in Ireland
Did you know you can actually hike for many kilometers along the Cliffs of Moher? When my fiance and I went, we thought we were just going to marvel at the views. We had no idea you can hike along the cliffs so far. The full Cliffs of Moher walk stretches around 13km (from Doolin out to Hag's Head) and takes around 4.5 hours while the shorter version of the Doolin Cliff Walk is 8km (to the visitor centre) and takes roughly 3 hours to complete. I suggest planning to spend at least a few hours there. The history, wildlife, and views make for one of the most majestic places on Earth. Fun fact: They have been featured in films like Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, The Princess Bride, The Yank, and Into the West.
