Back At My Home Park After a Summer Away! What's Changed? | Dollywood 8/17/22
It's time to return to Dollywood after not visiting since May! After spending a full year of school in Knoxville, with Dollywood as my home park, I returned home for the summer in Nashville. Due to the park being less accessible (going from 45 min away to nearly 4 hours away) and a desire to visit many other, closer regional parks over the summer such as Holiday World and Kentucky Kingdom, I wasn't able to make another visit to Dollywood over the entire summer. However, I'm very excited to be back!
In today's vlog, I'll be getting back on some of my favorite rides (particularly them roller coasters) to see how they're running, checking out some small changes that have been made around the park, and most importantly, seeing the construction and teasers of Big Bear Mountain, Dollywood's new-for-2023 roller coaster!
Dollywood theme park is located in Pigeon Forge, TN, and is currently my favorite park due to the combination of elaborate Smoky Mountain and southern-inspired theming with a great collection of 9 roller coasters, including my all-time favorite, Lightning Rod.
