How to reduce the disk size of a Windows guest virtual disk file in VirtualBox
This tutorial demonstrates how to reduce the size of a virtual disk used by a Windows Virtual box guest. The VirtualBox host machine in this demo does not have solid state storage and I use fixed size virtual disks for performance reasons. In this case I wanted to reduce a virtual disk's storage usage on the host without rebuilding the VM from scratch.
