/bin directory is where system programs run from - DO NOT add yours here
edit PATH by adding export to ~/.bashrc
$
./ to run
sudo chmod +x to add as an executable program
double click in file explorer or right click allow program to execute
Adding programs to start menu
/usr/share/applications (All Users)
~/.local/share/applications (Local User) .
