Opening Newer Version Sketchup files
A lot of creators upload their Sketchup Files using the versions they already have, and that version may be a newer version than the one you're using.
The solution to this problem exists on the Extension Warehouse, thanks to the developer Eneroth; the 'Open Newer Version' Sketchup extension.
This Video is basically a tutorial on how to install and use her extension which is compatible with Sketchup Versions 2014 to 2019 (at the time of this post/video).
