A talk by Nicola Osinaike from Audit Data Hub.

Approximately 85% of Big Data projects fail to deliver the highly promised business outcomes? In this session we will explore the 7 common reasons behind this statistic. Why are buyers often left underwhelmed when that very expensive data project finally lands? Why is there no visible cost
saving or improvement when those much-anticipated business insights are finally available?

We use real world examples to bring the cause of this disappointment to life. Plus provide a range of practical tips, all data professionals can use, to help ensure their next data project reverses that statistic and succeeds. Data is everywhere, it’s the new gold. Data analytics and exploitation is seen as a business strategy all organisations need to deploy. However, simply pouring money into data projects which aren’t delivering productivity gains may start to reverse this assumption.
By attending this session, you will gain an understanding of how you can plan, build and deliver any data project in a way which exceeds expectations. We aim to give you the insight business people maybe reluctant to share, increasing your ability to deliver successful data projects first time.
